Known-answer validation
Release v1.0.0, build 3 September 2026. These regression tests exercise the core LQ/BED and independent EQD2 arithmetic. They do not clinically validate the recovery assumptions or use of the UK 2022 SABR constraints for re-irradiation.

Equations under test
BED = D × (1 + d/(α/β))
EQD2 = D × (d + α/β)/(2 + α/β)
Recovery is applied linearly to BED or EQD2 for each previous course. The remaining biological dose is then converted to a dose in the requested number of fractions using the positive quadratic root.
